We require a professional traditional Thai Massage Therapist to join our friendly team working in our city-centre location Castle Thai Spa in Edinburgh, Scotland. We provide an authentic Thai therapeutic massage experience to our patients.
We are currently looking for passionate, professional, reliable and confident massage therapists with specialist skills and relevant experience in Thai massage therapy.
As a therapist, you will ensure outstanding treatment service delivering to the Castle Thai Spa standards.
Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, management and co-workers.
You will be qualified to at least degree level in Thai Medical Massage and have a minimum of 1 year of experience.
If the application is successful, the candidate will need to complete a visa application to work in the UK. We will provide assistance during the visa application process.
Duties include:
- Performing consultation with patients to assess goals and current problems
- Perform ROM (Range of Motion) tests to determine where patients current issues stem from
- Recommend an appropriate treatment to address issues and help the patient reach their goals
- Perform treatment in a competent and professional manner
- Recommend aftercare to continue treatment or help the patient maintain results
Qualifications:
- A degree in Applied Thai medical Massage or similar
- English B1
- Skills: English (Fluent), active listening, teamwork, basic computer skills, Experience: Minimum one years experience within a Thai medical massage clinic
