Responsibility
- Able to understand engineering drawings, specifications, and other data to ensure same message and adequate information has been transfer from Engineering department to supplier.
- Identifying and evaluate potential suppliers who can provide the goods and services needed by the company.
- Negotiates contracts with suppliers to ensure that the company receives high-quality goods and services at competitive prices
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure that suppliers comply with the company’s standards for quality, safety, and sustainability.
- Develops procurement strategies by monitoring inventory movement and determining inventory levels of products.
- Manage purchasing cycle including request for quotation, PO creation, PO follow up, supplier billing and purchase forecasting.
- Develop and maintain a database of supplier, material and component costs.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials and components needed for production.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Engineering or technical background on procurement, sourcing, supply chain.
- Minimum 3+ years of industry experience in procurement and supply chain (Automotive industry preferred)
- Possess well-rounded knowledge in strategic sourcing, supply chain, manufacturing, and operational procurement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and establish clear goals.
- Advanced systems skills and working knowledge of MS Office, with advanced Excel knowledge, ERP systems (NAV would be advantage)
- Good communication skills, exhibit strong leadership qualities and show initiative.
- Able to communicate and write in English.
