- To manage all technical aspects of products including technical development, and improvement projects to meet customer requirements.
- To be responsible for regulatory compliance related to products.
- To be responsible for product and process development /improvement
Main Responsibility
1. Product Development & Improvement
- Plan and manage new product, improve formulation and new process development from feasibility study to commercialization and post launch to meet customer requirement, company policy and regulatory compliance
- Develop products and processes with co-manufacturers and co-packer
- Ensure completion of development and commercialization with success criteria of project work through use of accepted work practices and approved documentation processes
- Evaluate, select raw materials and equipment for product and process development
- Prepare documents for registration
2. General Role
- Maintain and control SPI (Standard Production Instruction) and other documents related.
- Regularly monitor and review tasks assigned to subordinates.
- Perform laboratory in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
- Transfer knowledge of all new or modified processes and product improvement to QA, production and relevant department to ensure that products produced meet customer requirement.
- Control data keeping system to ensure its well-documented and easy to reference.
- Followcompany regulations and allimplemented standard system
3. Registration
- Prepare documents for registration.
Qualification
- 2 -5 years’ experience in R&D field.
- Understanding of health supplement technology and ingredient functionality and ability to generate and lead state-of-the-art developmental techniques.
- Knowledge in food regulation related to products, especially labeling law
- Ability to self-initiate and manage multiple projects and tasks independently to meet business challenges
- Ability to lead and develop the team.
- Strong English communication skill (verbal, reading and written)
