Merchandiser
Job Description:
- Review, plan and release orders
- Prepare the work for sampling, product costing and pricing
- Monitor the critical path for each order in order to deliver right product, right quality on time
- Visit and communicate with suppliers on a regular basis
- Update product file
- Administrative tasks: prepare fabric swatch, filing etc.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor in Business Administration or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Garment Merchandising or Data Analysis
- Positive, active and detail-oriented
- Be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Strong computer knowledge
Senior Merchandiser
Job Description:
- See the opportunity of trend for each season
- Sourcing new products and suppliers from both domestic and oversea
- Partner with the Brand Manager to plan product ranges and allocate to stores in order to drive sales
- Prepare the work for sampling, product costing and pricing
- Coordinate all other product-related tasks including design, fitting, inspections
- Track finished goods production in order to meet stock and product launching plan
- Visit and communicate with suppliers on a regular basis to both anticipate and resolve any issues arising during production process
- Monitor and analyze sales and stock – analyze every aspect of bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colors or styles) and ensure that bestsellers reach their full potential while recommending actions to move slow sellers
- Present to management on monthly review for best-selling product, inventory, team performance
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education/ Degrees: Bachelors in Business or any related fields
- Well mature, positive, active and detail-oriented
- Be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Language: Good related experience in the garment industry (merchandiser, sourcing, operations, quality)
