CHARTER International School is looking for a Junior IT staff, start from August 2023.
Position Overview:
The Junior IT Staff member will be responsible for providing technical support to the IT Manager, Network Manager, and school community as a whole. They will also be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the school’s systems and networks. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to staff and students
- Assist with the maintenance and troubleshooting of the school’s systems and networks
- Assist with the setup and configuration of new equipment
- Assist with the management of the school’s IT inventory
- Assist with the management of the school’s IT policies and procedures
- Assist with the management of the school’s IT documentation
- Assist with the management of sound and light system for any activities
- Attend training sessions and workshops to improve technical knowledge and skills
- Provide support to the IT Manager and Network Manager as required
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or an Information & Communication Technology-related discipline
- A good understanding of English
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organisational & communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Suite
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Knowledge of networking concepts
