Job description and responsibilities:
- This job is responsible to assure the effective execution of the first line IT support activities for a Webasto site and management of site IT projects and resources.
- Responsible for the IT Systems and IT Service delivery on site
- Local IT security and IT governance
- Accountable for delivery of local projects.
- Participation in regional and global projects including leading regional projects
- Operation and maintenance of local systems and service availability
- Local Emergency and Problem Management
- Optimization of service delivery at a site
- Ingrticipation in standard setting process – Supporting local IT demand management – Supporting project execution and management
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 – 4 years of experience in IT maintenance and support.
- Fluency in English, as well as any other relevant languages for the specific region.
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Experience with desktop and laptop hardware, operating systems, and software applications
- Knowledge of various networking protocols and basic network configuration
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry
- Broad IT infrastructure skills with application knowledge
- Intermediate knowledge of IT networks and server functionality & configuration
- In-depth knowledge of desktop devices and desktop applications
- Experience leading teams and small-scale projects
- Customer orientation
- Analytic capabilities and structured way of thinking
- Experience with ITIL and Service Delivery and KPIs
