Job Purpose:
Design or subcontract new equipment by following specifications and investing in what is needed to satisfy the customer. Propose improvement for current equipment in terms of increasing productivity, quality, performance standardization and cost saving.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- New equipment development/existing equipment improvement:
- Technical study.
- Specifications definition
- Follow the design & realization with sub-contractors.
- Surrounding preparation (building, energy etc.)
- Production training
- Development Instructions
- Results measurement
- Problem-solving
- Improvement & knowledge accumulating
- Product variant version development
- Study factory impact for each machine
- Follow the validation procedure; study the risk in order to realise the validation.
- Upgrade the instructions for this new version.
- Set up the machines to allow production work with it.
- With the quality department, control the quality result.
- Leading industrialisation projects for capacity increase, OEE increase, mistake rate decrease and ergonomic increase (if needed with automation.
- Contributing to R&D new product projects
- Design of machine and tools
- Defining new production line
- Preparing validation criteria
- Participation to GAP, 5S and factory roadmaps
- Deliver the equipment in production by respecting the defined schedule.
- Use Groupe Atlantic tools.
- Share information with workers, team leaders and project leaders.
Qualification:
- Educational background: Mechanical, industrial, or mechatronics engineering graduate.
- Experience in industrial company and field oriented.
- Software: Pro-engineer or/and SolidWorks or/and AutoCAD. FMEA, Problem-solving methodology.
- Good level of English.

Job Context and Environment:
- Based in SAWHA plant Rayong, 2 days off per week
- Available during night shifts or Weekend in case of emergency.
- This position can be urgently present at the supplier to check or fix a subject. These unplanned visits can be in Thailand or abroad.
