PURPOSE OF THE JOB TITLE:
Creating drawings and parts lists as well as the design, development off machines and installations for orders and projects within the Apollo Group.
Place within the organisation:
Active within a team of engineers and is accountable to a lead engineer or superior.
RESULT AREAS
Design
- Creating lay-out drawings and quotation drawings.
- Creating composition drawings and detailed drawings with parts lists in ERP.
- Checking either Independent or together with the sales department and team leader engineering the design on meeting the specifications, manufacturability and standardization assumptions.
Construction
- Development of designs to a drawing package, technical calculations and parts lists.
- Capture relevant information for the making of operation manuals.
- Drawing up a list of spare parts
Support
- Support of Assembly with technical questions.
- Discussing suggestions of the assembly department and/or service employees for further improvement on;
- Construction
- Assembly

Management
- Management of the technical file of standard and semi standard machines by making sure everything will be adjusted to “as built” situations and suggestions in designing and construction will be processed.
Communication
- Exchange of information to receive clear specifications and to discuss the design with the sales department as well as asking for test material.
- Discussing uncertainties, problems and ways of improvement with foreman and mechanics.
- Discussing progress and results with the Team lead engineering and lead engineer.
Authorizations
- Making adjustments and proposals for the standard and semi-standard machines in consultation with lead engineer or team leader engineering.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the up to date status of the standard machine and apply improvement techniques.
- Making proposals to meet standardization and simplification in design.
- Designs which meet the specifications and drawing packages, parts list and with correct calculations.
- Independently working out machines.

Requirements:
- At least 4-5 years of experience in machine design and BOM
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineer and relevant.
- If have experience about conveyor will be considered.
- Salary range 35,00-45,00 THB
