Responsibilities: 

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with external and internal customers that foster compassion, authenticity, integrity, respect, and dignity.
  • Provide direction and appropriate support structure using effective resources to enable the team to deliver high performance.
  • Serve as the point of contact for client service activities and develop strategies to grow the transportation practice for various clients. 
  • Development and implement targets for own area of responsibility based on the business objectives.
  • Secure management commitment and influence/attract key staff for pursuits.
  • Negotiation strategy with customers dealing with deep understanding of logistic, transport, e-commerce technology of international industrial standard/norm.
  • Ensure compliance with customers’ standard operating procedures.
  • Monitoring the status of the work and reporting any urgent or significant issues to management.
  • Review better ways to approach problems through synthesizing and recognizing the problem information.
  • Able to handle requirements from direct manager/executive management.
  • Any assignment from superior.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in freight forwarding or logistics business.
  • Strong team leader consensus builder, team player skill, negotiation skill and result oriented.
  • Strategic thinking and good planning capability.
  • Ability to make decisions, work under demand and under pressure.
  • English communication and service mind are strongly required.
  • Good computer literacy, i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
