Key Responsibilities:
– Manage the entire process in transportation bidding process (solicitation, submission, selection, contract formation).
– Monitor performance of suppliers / forwarders against purchasing plan.
– Keep logs and records of freight and transportation cost; Optimize purchasing and delivery costs, Manage costs within budgetary limits.
– Communicate with suppliers, forwarders etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction;
– Coordinate and monitor supplier operations; transportation, freight, warehouse, logistics, fleet, ect. Logistics function :
1)Inbound – overseas Freight and Origin operation; Air/Sea Freight (LCL, FCL etc.) and Cross border
2)Outbound – shipment from DAN TH; Freight and Transportation to loading port (Oversized and Heavy Lift)
3) Local Handling – Domestics Transportation and lifting operation, customs clearance, packing, WH managing etc.
Knowledge :
– Incoterm, Freight regulation, Type of Container and Loading Restriction.
– Understanding Machine’s drawing, lifting plan etc.
– Basic understanding of loading plan, container arrangement etc.
