ภาระงาน
1. ตรวจและปรับยกร่างกฎหมาย (พระราชบัญญัติ และข้อบังคับ ระเบียบหรือประกาศสถาบัน)
2. ค้นคว้าหาข้อมูล ศึกษาวิเคราะห์ เปรียบเทียบ หลักการ แนวความคิด บทบัญญัติกฎหมาย และคำพิพากษา คำวินิจฉัยถึงที่สุดที่สถาบันเป็นคู่กรณี
3. ให้คำปรึกษาทางกฎหมายที่อยู่ในภาระงานกับหน่วยงาน และเสนอความเห็นข้อกฎหมายต่อผู้บังคับบัญชา (ผู้บริหาร)
4. ยกร่าง ตรวจร่างและจัดทำนิติกรรมสัญญาต่าง ๆ ที่สถาบันเป็นคู่สัญญา
5. เรียกชดใช้เงินทุน เงินเดือน เบี้ยปรับ กรณีมีผู้ผิดสัญญากับสถาบัน
6. จัดทำคำสั่งแต่งตั้งคณะกรรมการสอบหาข้อเท็จจริง คณะกรรมการสอบสวน คณะกรรมการสอบหาข้อเท็จจริงความรับผิดทางละเมิด และคำสั่งอื่นตามที่ได้รับมอบหมายเฉพาะราย
7. ดำเนินการทางวินัยและจรรยาบรรณ
8. ดำเนินการเกี่ยวกับความรับผิดทางละเมิดของเจ้าหน้าที่
9. ดำเนินการคดีแพ่ง คดีอาญา คดีปกครอง คดีล้มละลายหรือคดีอื่นที่สถาบันเป็นคู่ความ
10. พิจารณาและตรวจสอบคำอุทรธรณ์ คำร้องทุกข์หรือคำโต้แย้ง รวมถึงประสานงานการประชุมคณะกรรมการอุทธรณ์ร้องทุกข์
11. ดำเนินการบังคับคดีตามคำพิพากษาหรือคำสั่ง
12. เตรียมการระงับข้อพิพาท
13. ตอบข้อหารือ ชี้แจงข้อเท็จจริงและข้อกฎหมายตามหนังสือร้องเรียน
14. งานอื่นที่ได้รับมอบหมาย
